   kindliness is essential at all times… But, sometimes kindliness is expressesd thru a direct communication that is to the point. Kindness can be tough as well as calm when necessary.

      We surely agree that sometimes the kindest thing may be direct, and certainly honest. It’s not just doing what may make someone comfortable in the short term, but what’s for their greatest good in the long term.

   I find that people are very receptive to words of comfort and encouragement during this time. I must be gentle when expressing my personal standard and my opinions, so I can remember to be kind.

   Kindness is so much needed today to help us get through troubling times. How little it takes – just a few words of encouragement or a smile – to extend kindness to another.
