A very helpful thought for the week – reminding me that whilst experiencing a difficult situation, there is much good to be gained and learned. And also if I keep this in mind at the time of difficulty – it helps to transmute the experience positively.
I’ve learned the truth of this statement as a Lemurian student, but still has been a challenge to apply when in the grips of worry. Very rewarding, though, with each success of controlling my worst fears, fears that normally don’t materialize anyway.
This is hard to remember when you are in that worry mode! Once I realize my thinking is not positive, I usually say the protective prayer, and try to sort out what it is in the situation that I need to learn…or to do better. Recently, when my partner was ill, it was a while before I recognized he has his own challenges, just as I do. Then I remembered to ask for help, to be appropriate, to be truly helpful, and not complicate the situation, with worry.
