God speaks and helps us through impressions made upon our minds when we sincerely strive to be alert to the lessons found every day in our lives and interactions with others.

I do believe you have to pay attention to what God is trying to tell you. He tells me through songs. It could be a song that I know every word to but somedays I’ll be singing to it and a light bulb goes off and I’m just in awe. For example, today a song said ” why do we dance while the world is turning. Why do we sleep when the bed is burning.” Now I’ve heard this song hundreds of times and today I was like oh, I get it. We’re too busy in our lives to pay attention to what is really going on in this world. And no body is taking responsibility to fix it, to help people suffering, all they care about is how much they can get from somebody else. I’m sure He is shaking his head and wondering what is wrong with us. Anyway thats what I got out of it. Thanks for reading.
Thanks for writing, Ronda. We agree, inspiration can come from anywhere, especially from music. It has the power to touch us deeply. We read recently about a man who lost his memory. but then regained it when he heard a song from the 80s that he must have listened to as a child. Take care.
