Happened to read these helpful thoughts after I stumbled with a family member today. Helped me to “get on with the work” after a “brief period of mourning.”
I lately notice that each stumble shows me a slightly different aspect of whatever principle I am attempting to use! That is humbling all by itself. You are correct to call the post-realization aspect, ” mourning.” But as I grow older in the studies, I am somewhat quicker to leave off with this, and get on with the work! Thanks for your observation!
The hope is to use what we have learned and not stumble. Then when we do, there is a brief period of mourning as we realize that we are not yet at that level of unfoldment. Then we find comfort in the humility and other principles to be learned from the stumble.
